ADDENDA TO RFP- STREET HOCKEY COURT IMPROVEMENTS AND RECONSTRUCTION – AUGUST 2026
Pursuant to the STREET HOCKEY COURT IMPROVEMENTS AND RECONSTRUCTION – AUGUST 2026 for the City of Somers Point, any changes to the RFP requirements will be made by written addenda and shall be considered part of the RFP. Upon issuance, such addenda shall be incorporated in the agreement documents and shall prevail over inconsistent provisions of earlier issued documentation.
- Said Bids will be received and opened in public at the City of Somers Point Municipal Building, 1 W New Jersey Ave, Somers Point NJ 08244 on August 25th 2026 at 10:00AM by the City’s Business Administrator/ QPA, Jason Frost
Court Surfacing:
- The project shall include the installation of an open-grid, grip-top modular athletic tile surface meeting the following minimum requirements:
- Tile Size: 12" × 12" × 0.5"
- Surface Type: Open Grid Grip Top Modular Athletic Tile
- Approximate Court Dimensions: 160 feet × 80 feet (12,800 square feet)
- End Geometry: 20-foot radius at each end.
- The Contractor shall field verify all existing dimensions and conditions prior to fabrication and installation. The Contractor shall furnish and install a complete, fully functional street hockey playing surface that fits within the existing dasher board system.
- The finished playing surface shall include all required game markings, including but not limited to:
- Center line
- Blue lines
- Goal lines
- Face-off circles
- Center face-off circle
- Goal creases
(All markings shall conform to accepted street hockey standards unless otherwise directed by the Owner.)
Existing Dasher Board System:
- Any modifications, adjustments, or repairs to the existing dasher board system required to facilitate installation of the modular playing surface shall be performed by others and are not part of this Contract.
- Quantities and dimensions shown in the Contract Documents are approximate and are provided for bidding purposes only. The Contractor shall verify all dimensions in the field prior to ordering materials.
