Notice of Intent to Award Contract under a National Cooperative

Purchasing Agreement for Athletic Surfaces

The City of Somers Point intends to participate in the Sourcewell National Cooperative for Athletic Surfaces, Contract Number #0031022-GER, to purchase Athletic Surfaces for the City of Somers Point.

Information regarding this contract may be found at the City of Somers Point City Clerk’s Office, 1 W. New Jersey Avenue, Somers Point, NJ 08244 Monday through Friday, except legal holidays, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as well as through the Sourcewell National Cooperative website @ www.sourcewell-mn.gov.

The City anticipates utilizing the Sourcewell National Cooperative contract on or about 07/23/26. The current Sourcewell National Cooperative contract term for Contract Number Contract Number #0031022-GER is Effective until 05/26/2027.

It is the intent of the City of Somers Point, NJ, Jason Frost, QPA, City Administrator, to make a contract award to SportProUSA, Inc. as needed and determined in the best interest of the City of Somers Point, NJ and to utilize Sourcewell National Cooperative Vendors, pursuant to the proposal submitted in response to the Sourcewell National Cooperative National Purchasing Program contract for Athletic Surfaces.

The City of Somers Point is permitted to join national cooperative purchasing agreements under the authority of N.J.S. A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3).
