BOND ORDINANCE STATEMENT AND SUMMARY
The bond ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, has been finally adopted by the City of Somers Point, in the County of Atlantic, State of New Jersey on May 28,, 2026 and the 20 day period of limitation within which a suit, action or proceeding questioning the validity of such bond ordinance can be commenced, as provided in the Local Bond Law, has begun to run from the date of the first publication of this statement. Copies of the full bond ordinance are available at no cost and during regular business hours at the Clerk's office for members of the general public who request the same. The summary of the terms of such bond ordinance follows:
Title: BOND ORDINANCE PROVIDING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF $1,500,000 FOR THE ACQUISITION AND INSTALLATION OF PACIFIC AVENUE PUMP STATION GENERATOR IN AND BY THE CITY OF SOMERS POINT, IN THE COUNTY OF ATLANTIC, NEW JERSEY, AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $1,500,000 BONDS OR NOTES OF THE CITY TO FINANCE PART OF THE COST THEREOF.
Purpose(s): The acquisition and installation of the Pacific Avenue Pump Station Generator, together with all materials and work necessary therefore, and all other necessary or desirable structures, appurtenances and work or materials, all as shown on and in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore on file in the office of the City Clerk and hereby approved, including the costs of surveying, construction, planning, engineering, preparation of plans and specifications, permits, bid documents and construction.
