Notice of Intent to Award Contract under a National Cooperative

Purchasing Agreement for Fire Apparatus and Related Vehicles

The City of Somers Point intends to participate in the HGAC Buy Cooperative for Fire Apparatus and Related Vehicles, Contract Number #FS12-23, to purchase equipment for the Somers Point Fire Department.

Information regarding this contract may be found at the City of Somers Point City Clerk’s Office, 1 W. New Jersey Avenue, Somers Point, NJ 08244 Monday through Friday, except legal holidays, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as well as through the HGAC Buy Cooperative website @ www.hgacbuy.org .

The City anticipates utilizing the HGAC Buy Cooperative contract on or about 05/28/2026. The current HGAC Buy Cooperative contract term for Contract Number #FS12-23 is Effective 12/01/2023 - 05/31/2027.

It is the intent of the City of Somers Point, NJ, Jason Frost, QPA, City Administrator, to make a contract award to Fire & Safety Services, Ltd. as needed and determined in the best interest of the City of Somers Point, NJ and to utilize HGAC Buy Cooperative, pursuant to the proposal submitted in response to the HGAC Buy Cooperative contract for Fire Apparatus and Related Vehicles.

The City of Somers Point is permitted to join national cooperative purchasing agreements under the authority of N.J.S. A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3).
